Welcome to the Crown

A warm welcome awaits you at The Crown Inn in the beautiful and historic village of Linton, just 8 miles south of Cambridge.

It boasts a cosy bar area with a real fire, just as you would expect in a 17th century coaching inn, full of nooks and crannies.   There’s a sofa seating area for those that want to relax, or take a seat at the bar and order from our extensive selection of beverages.

Meals are served in the bar area and also in our large, light conservatory restaurant.  We pride ourselves in offering a varied menu prepared by our professional chefs. We use trusted local suppliers and seasonal produce.  Our daily specials board features fresh fish and meat dishes and if we can tempt you to try our puddings, we know you will not be disappointed.

Explore Linton

Linton is a perfect base to explore the delights that Cambridgeshire has offer. We are only 8 miles away from Cambridge itself, but on our doorstep we have our very own Linton Zoo and Chilford Hall Vineyard.  The village itself supports a thriving community and boasts a lot of independent shops including an artisan bakery, an indian restaurant, an award winning coffee shop and two galleries.

We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and there is even a ‘Heritage Trail’ through Linton.  The Crown is an ideal starting point to venture out with, or without your dog and on your return we would be delighted to welcome you both in the bar.
